Once the speed drops down stopping and starting the torrent file does not affect the speed, the only way to increase speed past 10kb/s is to close and reopen the program (or wait for an unknown amount of time for it to randomly jump back up. ![]() ![]() Did anyone face a similar problem? And what should I do about this?Įdit: Just wanted to add that I'm using a PC, and it's connected to the Modem-Router via an Ethernet cable. Laptop with similar (if not the same) adapter connects normally (Acer Aspire V 15) Started after Updating to windows 10 (May not have noticed until now. The problem is seemingly random (already happened twice this week), but it only started to happen after I installed the latest qbittorrent client update I'm not sure if it is a qbittorrent problem or a more general issue. The problem was solved (temporarily) when I turned off the DSL Modem-Router (TP-Link Archer VR600), waited a couple of minutes, and then turned it back on again. Here is a graph that shows the fluctuations in download / upload speed over a 30 minutes time span. I did a simple speed test, and noticed that sometimes the ping is very low (normal), other times it is ridiculously high (over 200ms), and the speed fluctuates accordingly. I was downloading a file via qbittorrent and saw that the download speed keeps dropping to 0 nearly every 20 seconds, and then goes back up again to regular speeds for another ~20 seconds, and then drops to 0 again, and so on.
